UbiFLOOD project will develop framework to assess better and faster transfer of information to population regarding flooding. Necessity for this research comes from huge losses of lives during and after flood especially in Asia.

Framework established within UbiFLOOD project will consider existing flooding issues regarding type of flooding in chosen cities (Bangkok, Mumbai and Singapore), existence of flood warning and forecasting systems, then existing network communication system available, devices that are available for ground data collection, devices available to collect data form persons and existing public devices to inform population.
